Hello Everyone. I appreciate you visiting the site and reading my blog; it’s good to see those pretty eyes again.
Happy new month!!!! I hope the month of June has been lovely for everyone. It has been good for me—well, more than good because my mental health is much better. im happier now. I can’t even remember the last time I woke up and was sad or feeling moody, and I love how it feels. Apart from the financial part of my life, I’m good. My finances don’t even worry me that much because my mental health is in check, and most times I’m in very good spirits. not like I don’t want to improve where i am or what not, but for now I am okay with where i am; infact fact, i am very comfortable with where my mental space is at and what my mind feels like at the moment, and for me, thats the first step.
With my mental space in a better place, i hope to be more consistent with posts and how i roll them out, i think i have mentioned a number of times that my morale or my ginger is always demoralised from writing because my views are very poor. Even my very few friends never read my blog, i have asked a couple but the response was always the same: they either dont see the link when i post or that i dont send it to them and it always demoralised me, like i am talking to myself most of the time. My better half always encourages me by saying I should keep writing and rolling out posts so that one day it will pop, so I started taking a different approach to posting my link. After I wrote, I decided to concentrate on Pinterest and Twitter to share my links to my blog, and the most amazing thing happened: I got my very first real-life comment from someone I didn’t know, and that was the inspiration I needed to write this post this week, knowing that step by step my blog views would come up and would soon start getting the attention I needed. All I need to do is put in more effort, work harder, and roll out more posts. So I would like to use this medium to thank Ms. Claire for the comment and for also reading my blog. It sure means a lot to me.
My new job Oh, how nice it feels to work in a positive and growing environment. My new job is everything I dreamed of and more. I don’t wake up cranky anymore, whether I wake up early or not, or whether I slept well the previous night or not. All I know is that I have been waking up with a smile on my face and am always refreshed and energised for the day. My colleagues have been amazing in general; I have a very cool boss, and the whole environment in general is just a very positive and cheerful one. i obviously have some little office details i would like to share with you. I always have something to say but i think i would just keep those juicy details for the upcoming blog posts. I’m very glad I’m working for a more structured company where I don’t have to worry about a woman’s mood, whether she’s happy with how much sales came in the previous week or if her family has upset her. i also dont spend so much on transportation going to work and its less stressful coming to this new job compared to the other, where i was jumping like 3-4 buses to get to work, whereas here here i am jumping only two buses. there are just so many advantages of this new job that i cant begin to say enough but i am very grateful for it, it came just when i needed it the most.
I have decided to take things one step at a time, especially now that the pieces of my life are now falling into place. I can start accomplishing all my dreams, like rolling out a blog post every Monday or Tuesday. starting up my business again, presumably reconnecting and trying to make friends again. Though this making friends part is really tricky now because human beings are very weird and they always have hidden agendas, I am absolutely ready to put myself there and start making friends again. I’ve taken some steps back and am reconnecting with old friends I lost along the way—not the unnecessary friendships, but just the ones that can be useful and beneficial to me. I’m also trying to see if I can make new connections and friendships; I’m very open to that and willing to have a few. Just to add that, with my mental space finally in check, I want to start cultivating the habit of reading and trying to rework focusing my attention more on things. I have an issue with this book reading venture I am going on. I have downloaded a couple of books onto my phone, and the issue now is to read the books. I have started two, i think, but I always get distracted by other applications on my phone, either snapchat or Instagram, and it’s so annoying. This is why I think I have an attention and focus issue because I get distracted easily. So all my book readers, if you see this, please kindly share tips on how I can fix this, or is it that I don’t have a zeal for reading, or maybe I should try reading the books physically and not the ePub version. I’ll look into this, or what do you guys think? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
And with that, we have reached the end of another blog post. Thank you all for reading to this point. Thank you for clicking the link at all times, even if you didn’t get to this point or got bored. Hopefully you can check other posts, or maybe future posts will hopefully catch your attention.
Please share the link, comment, and provide feedback in the comment section.
