Hello Everyone. I appreciate you visiting the site and reading my blog; it’s good to see those pretty eyes again.
On Saturday, July 6th, I figured another week was already here and I had to push myself to make another post, so I decided to start writing today. Hopefully, I will be able to write up everything before Tuesday. I agreed to go to Tuesday and not Monday because I posted last week on Tuesday, so let me just continue with that. So it’s safe to say again for the second time that I would try to get posts rolling out every Tuesday. So stay glued and tuned, and feel free to remind me if I do not post a blog for a week. I officially make you all my accountability officers.
This paragraph continued on Tuesday afternoon. Yeah, I had a bit of writer’s block over the weekend, and then some life revelations happened to me, so basically, let me say this weekend was a lot for me. How was everyone else’s weekend? Lol, how hilarious this whole post is to me because, as of last week, I was in the middle of getting my funk back and whatnot and then my life revelation came and I was just left shocked Like, what do I do? I am using this post to kind of let off a little steam and whatnot, and I almost didn’t even do a blog post, but I just had to shake it off, and like the title said, get on my Zoom. So I learned the whole get on your Zoom from Jayda Wayda. It was a slang word I picked up from her that she used whenever she was having a dull day or feeling moody and she had a tonne of things to do. She always told herself that she had to get on her Zoom, so I picked that up. I have a lot of things I want to set back up for myself, and I’m not going to let anything hold me back this time.
Now that I am working on getting my Zoom back, I am making an effort to journal more. I am grateful that Apple created a journal app for iPhones, which makes things much easier and gives me a place to record my ideas and daily events. Most of the time, I just forget about it and lose myself in whatever feeling is consuming me at the moment. However, I hardly used to do this. But now I kind of want to take my journal as a diary; it would make my whole writing a lot easier so I can have a place to jot down my thoughts or what happened in a day without filters because most of my posts here are not 100% free because I kind of think of what people might think when they read them. I would soon surpass that stage and write freely the same way I live freely now because, I mean, no one is paying my bills, but still, I always apply emotions to all I do and try to put myself in another person’s shoes to see how it would feel as mean as I think I am. I am very caring. I can bet you that when I started this post on Saturday, my mind was flying with a lot of things to write about but now see me staring at a white screen for hours, looking and thinking of what to share with you guys Anyway, this is all a learning and improving stage for me, where I get to discover old and new things about myself and also to improve on myself as well. Hopefully, I will come back with more updates on my next blog on how my week of journaling went, because now I am filled with a heavy mind and can’t wait to pour it all into my journal, unfiltered.
From another angle of organisation, there might be some upcoming changes to my blog’s appearance; I don’t know what entered me, and the font colour is pink. Trust me, as a girl, I know this is odd to say, but yeah, I hate pink. I am not a fan of pink one bit, but seriously, my blog colour and background are pink. So I want to make a change to that effect, so there may be a new theme coming in the next few weeks. I just have to sit down and play around with a new theme and see which one works for me. I had started playing around with that before I started this blog post, but I didn’t want that to be an excuse for the delay in the post because I knew I was making excuses. Hopefully, before the next blog post, I can get that sorted out.
My views did a lot better. I am thankful to everyone who clicked the link and read the blog, but as one of my amazing readers also pointed out to me in my last post, “My viewpoints are mine and not poor,” which means a lot to me, has been a watchword for me through the week. I promise to be consistent and try my best to keep rolling out blogs every Tuesday It may not always be easy, but I would always get on my Zoom, and you should as well whenever you have things to do and don’t feel up to it. Just learn to say to yourself, I gotta get on my Zoom. I hope you all enjoyed this particular post until our eyes meet again.
