Quiet Weeks, Loud Lessons

Hello, everyone. I appreciate you visiting the site and reading my blog; seeing those pretty eyes again is good.

What’s up, everyone, and happy Friday! I know, I know, it’s been two weeks. The views on my blog post each time are always low, and honestly, it gets to me and demoralises me from posting or writing anything, but I think what I’ll do now is just take it one step at a time. I can’t promise to post every week, but I promise to try and keep up and shake off the views that demoralise me from posting. How have you guys been? What’s been happening? Feel free to share in the comment section.

I got a new job in a much better and properly structured company, unlike my last one at “Smash”, the name of the company that was not structured in any way and they were pretending to be. I’m currently being onboarded into the company, and I’m shocked and also fascinated at how a proper company works and how much structure there is and how organised the company is. I am the front desk/admin officer, and I can tell you it feels weird how much of my job role I am doing – nothing like helping this person or knowing how to do all the roles or all that bullshit – or maybe it’s because I have been in customer care for a while, so I feel odd. In my previous job, I was head of operations, and trust me, nothing I did had to do with operations. I was mainly just doing customer care, responding to messages, and sending weekly, daily and monthly reports. Now, the part that shocked me – my current company I work for paid for my medicals, which they wanted me to do, while at Smash I had to be the one to pay for the medicals they wanted me to do; even my pension account, they helped me open it without stress. I just filled out a form, and they sent it over to them. While at Smash, you were the one who was meant to do all the stressing. Trust me, I am sure enjoying working here and hope to grow and learn on the job because it feels great, and the best part of my job is it’s hybrid! I don’t have to work every day; I report to the office three times a week.

So that’s all about what’s been happening in my week. Getting acquainted with a new job and getting my career life back. I don’t really like the fact that my views are not that many, so if you can help share and post, I would be happy to at least let twenty people read my blog instead of 5 or fewer people. Hmm, well, God knows best. This is why I wanted to pay for my SEO and get my own domain name, but again, God knows best.

Thank you fo reading till this point; feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.

  1. I think low views are common with blogs these days, if it’s not for “gossip” but you could grow your following steadily and it will fall in place.
